This is not going to be an "ALL OUT" event like it was the last few years. We just dont have time to do the leg work and ken does not have the energy, we are trying our best!

Thanks to Brian Sullivan who has been helping tremendously. Also, Jeannie Hammack has volunteered to make some side dishes, so maybe if we can do a potluck thing, that would be great, BYOM??? (bring your own meat) for the grill. Thanks Shannon for helping as well. If anyone else wants to volunteer some time to sell tickets, cook or whatever, that would be great! Any other ideas or any other things we can raffle off would be great as well.

The proceeds from this years event will be going to set up a Free Care Fund at Rush Presbyterian St.Lukes Hospital to aid people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. The minimum amount to establish this fund is $25,000.00. We have raised nearly $25,000 over the last two years for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society here in Il., and would like to ask you to help us reach this years goal. Rush St. Lukes is one of the leading hospitals in the mid-west for the treatment of M.S., as well as doing extensive research into finding a cure for this disease. This fund will enable many people suffering with M.S. the ability to pay for medication and treatment. The most common medications for treating M.S. are very expensive, and many people are no longer able to work due to their symptoms. The most common drug therapy averages about $1,000.00 per month, and needs to be taken continually for at least 12 months. By creating this type of perpetual fund, we will be helping to lessen the financial burden of many people for a long time.
